Recently Michael was asked to write an article for the NJ Society of CPA’s Magazine, 20,000 circulation. (Click to view, below.) How can you do as he did?
PPR FORUM: How did you get the article placed? And did you have to pay anything?
MICHAEL: They contacted me. No, I did not pay anything.
PPR FORUM: Where did you get the content for the article, and how did you put it together?
MICHAEL: I use a ghost writer (she was $100) and I usually spew out a bunch of thoughts and what I am looking to accomplish and who the audience is. I also asked Jonas Roeser and the LTC Financial Marketing Department for assistance and used a few pieces from an older press release that Jonas sent me.
PPR FORUM: What do you hope to gain from the article's publication? And how does that fit into your business-development strategy?
MICHAEL: I will gain credibility, publicity and exposure from the article, and it fits into my business development strategy because I believe a diversified marketing portfolio is essential to growing your business.
PPR FORUM: In what ways do you plan to make use of the published article?
MICHAEL: On my website, emailed to Strategic Partners, etc.
